For the last 12 years, “Thraka meAt me”,
at Anagnostou Gogoni Street, serves
delicious dishes in a spacious, modern
venue: very fresh pork or chicken gyros,
prepared in “Thraka”’s specialized pro-
cessing installations, handmade pork,
chicken, or kebab on sticks, burgers, tasty
pizzas baked in an oven heated by wood,
spaghetti cooked in a clay pot, risotto,
and the renowned Angus steaks used
in appetizing burgers. The more street
food “Epi Podos by Thraka” and “Parado-
siakon by Thraka” in downtown Ch. Gi-
annari Street offer mouth-watering sou-
vlaki grilled on charcoal, served in tradi-
tional pita bread (try the traditional
pita bread with pork) during the en-
tire day and night; one can spot the two
shops by the long queues of people wait-
ing to savor their souvlaki and kebab.
